Jaws ? What's that ? Hum, I think I understand why my friend told me that. She's Scottish... *sweatdrops* Yeeess, a sympathetic guard !

Jaws is a pretty famous movie over here in the States about a monster shark that prowls the oceans and bays. Gory movie, I didn't really like it, but just before Jaws is about to tear into his prey, when he's circling, very suspenseful music plays. You always wonder why the dumb swimmers don't hear it and get out of the water. So poor Wing, if he doesn't update soon, suspenseful music might start playing... There's always a great need for a sympathetic guard. I hope one shows up soon. Soon, got that, Wing?

Ooooh right ! I've heard about it. Only, it was not translated like that in French. The French title is "les dents de la mer", which roughly means "fangs/teeth of the sea". I never watched it, but I don't really like horror stuff... it usually lacks a storyline, to begin with. Well, I know I'm being judgmental and all, but I won't go watching horror movies when there are all those great war and pirate movies out there ;D
I was thinking of drawing Rommel as a pirate captain, and Hans as his second officer... but I won't draw that for the contest, it would take too long.

Jaws music! Woot!
Yeah, my mom saw it with her siblings when it first came out, and she was afraid to go swimming in a lake for a year after that.

Yes, it sparked an almost nation-wide fear of water. Then the real life instances of crazy sharks coming inland up the rivers and eating people didn't help much.

Haha, when I lived in Tahiti, I used to do some scuba diving, and there were lots of sharks. I wanted to caress one but I didn't manage to... well, I caressed a ray instead (you know, this butterfly-like fish). But they were pretty small sharks, so there was little or no danger - they were more afraid than us. Except a guy who was horribly nervous each time they drew near, hihi.

I have a question... which probably has been answered and I just missed it...
What became of Rommel's family after he was arrested? IRL he was given two options: Face a trial, public humiliation, and the camps for his family or suicide. I'm assuming since he was arrested in this story, he chose the former option or an option similiar?

You don't know what's happened to them. *bursts into amazingly evil laughter* Heh. You know that Rommel got arrested, and that when he did, the Gestapo didn't touch his family at that point (same thing with Hans), but they could have gone back during that time.
*snickers evilly*

This story is probably my favorite of all the ones posted here, I hope you intend to continue it.
