He also spoke some Romanian and Italian. Now he can fluently say "Surrender! Lay down your weapons and put your hands on your head" in at least seven languages. Hehe.
I see Rommel looking a bit confused as to his whereabouts upon arrival and then speaking in German asking what the heck is going on and where he is. Then I'd reply in a mix of German, English and French and hopefully he'll understand me. If not... there is always babelfish! Heh.

Babelfish ? *snickers* Don't use that. Usually, you end up with something very funny, but with little meaning. So he spoke bits of, what, English, German, French, Romanian, Italian and I dunno what else. I guess that was useful. I don't remember if I mentioned that before, but I read that in a book about escaping prisoners ; when they were chased and eventually surrendered, some of them would shout "nicht scheissen !" instead of "nicht schiessen !" Of course, that led to... uh... a few misunderstandings. So I guess he'd have to be careful when using foreign languages.
Hum. *snickers* Careful. I don't think he knew the meaning of that word.
