I know this is strictly a Non-Rommel category, but I'll say this is general history with some Rommel tossed in. Has anyone else seen the movie Night at the Museum? I saw it fell in love with it and its implications. Everything in the museum comes to life at night. In the movie, characters like a wax Teddy Roosevelt, miniature Romans and Cowboys, a skeletal T-rex, pharaoh's mummy, stuffed animals. It was hilarious. But wouldn't that make a great fanfic if the museum was filled with characters like...Rommel? Rommel, Robert E. Lee, Caesar, Blackbeard, etc. That would be so much fun to write. Other histories too; we could throw Patton in, that would make sparks fly, hehe... Just an odd thought, but one I thought would be very cool, if I had the time.

Yes, I saw that movie. I and my friends were joking what a D&D game would be like if we had that tablet.

The museum doesnt have to be the one in New York. The tablet and its mummy moved around. It was in Oxford, England once. So I imagine that the tablet and mummy could end up in a Berlin museum.

True enough. Can you imagine the fights Rommel and Patton might have, like Octavious and Jed, except worse? They could have great fun with that board game Stratego. Or Risk, or Battleship (make that BattleTank). And they could run into Blackbeard with his gunpowder-laced rum, or Lee on Traveller, or Stonewall Jackson and Bedford Forrest. I think Rommel and Forrest would have gotten along famously.
