Here's how to post your lovely Rommel pics, for those of you who are still a bit confuzzled... First thing is to get a URL for the picture. This can be done in a variety of ways--there are plenty of sites around that allow you to host your pictures for free. The most obvious choice is DeviantArt, which allows you to display your works to everyone as well as get comments and other feedback. However, if you're not looking for a community and just want the URL, I suggest trying either Photobucket or TinyPic. deviantart.com^DeviantArt. Take a look at some profiles to see what I mean by "community" site: you get feedback, open viewing, journals, the works. Your images also automatically get a URL with every upload, but if DeviantArt is being worked on or is having a problem, the URL won't work. www.photobucket.com^Photobucket. Requires a quick signup, but after that you get a free, limitless album for hosting your pictures. tinypic.com^Tinypic. Requires no signup, just a few mouse clicks, but your URL is not saved the way it is on Photobucket. It'll still be valid, but if you lose the URL you'd need to re-upload your picture. Good for fast uploads. Tinypic also takes images of all sizes, whereas Photobucket will downsize your picture at a certain point. Take a look-see and decide which one's best for you! If you have any questions or just can't figure it out, e-mail me.
