Guess what today is?! The 15th of November. (No, not the Fifth, for you V For Vendetta fans) And guess what that is? Well, you've probably/hopefully figured it out from the topic title--it's Erwin's birthday today! He's 115. Think about it--if it hadn't been for Hitler and his own admittedly poor immune system, he could still be alive today. Maybe. So...yeah...*parties* YAY!

Uh uh... 115, eh ? Yeah, he could be still alive, but I'm not sure he'd look as good as on the photographs. Since when does he have a poor immune system ? (except for the fact that it didn't protect him from cyanide excesses...) Happy birthday Erwin ! Sorry for the candles, but 115 is a pretty big number... I'll put one candle for a decade on the cake Ah, just a think, we can't see the pic...

115? My, that would be getting up there, if he were still around. Somehow I doubt he would have been though, sadly. I could have gone over and interviewed him, gotten his autograph, all that good stuff.
Say, is that supposed to be an image, there?

I'd say yes, and from the name, I'm willing to bet that's Rommel puffing his candles (wonder if that's the right words to use...)

Blowing out his candles, maybe?

Yeah - exactly. My, isn't English a tricky language, lol.

On behalf of all English-speakers, I sympathize deeply.

lol ! Thank you. But actually, when I went to Russia, I met an American - name was David - and he was the only one of my group who didn't speak more or less fluently at least two languages, and he said he envied us... So I guess it's worth the trouble to learn the language and make embarrassing mistakes.
Getting back to Erwin's birthday - I suggest we send a petition to the president (either one) to make this day an official mourning day for the greatest fox ever.

Um...yeah, what do you think they would say? Anyway, happy birthday you "SOB". (sorry, felt a strange urge to quote Patton...WHY?) No, but he's really cool, and I second the greatest fox ever.

Already two signatures ! Isn't the petition going really well ? Hmmm... SOB... Now that's not so obvious. Sorry Old Bastard ? Sod Off Bastard ? The B's definitely "Bastard", but the other two... All I remember Patton saying is "you magnificent bastard, I read your book"...

It actually stands for "son of a ----"...sorry for the profanity, but I had to be authentic. It is Patton we're talking about here.

haha, now that is funny, it came out completely different than what I intended to say. We have Balaurul to thank for that...

So that makes it SOD. Mmmh... quite colorful - and very Patty-like... Although, I don't quite see how anyone could have a son without being pregnant first...
Know what ? Patty's got a bad influence on us. We should get rid of him.

Hey, What do you know! The picture shows. That's a very nice birthday edit; he's looking fairly happy about it too. All those streamers though, they're not very regulation.

Haaa... so cute, isn't he ? Yeah, that's against regulations, but he's CIC in Africa... so who's gonna tell him that ? héhé.
