Hmm...it depends what you're offering...*sidles over* Chocolate?
*glances over at Hans, who is munching chocolate in the next room in between use for the story*
One moment please...
Oh! We have DEADLINES involved now, people! How does the end of the month sound for a due date?

*mutters thoughtfully* We are the 9th... I'm on holidays in one week... Sounds okay for a deadline. I'm writing more and more quickly. I wrote a 100,000 words story in two months of late. It has nothing to do with Rommel but it was fun to write. So I should manage by the end of the month. The drawing will be tricky, but well.

You're going skiing ? Okay, now I'm really jealous ! Hum, well, actually, I could go skiing if I wanted to... but I'm just too lazy for that. And yup, I'm on vacation. For only nine days though, including the week-ends. And I don't have holidays in march. But the good thing is my courses end on April 20th, hehe. Of course, I also have my exams after that, but it's not the same thing. I'll have like four months holidays... If I don't fail my exams, that is. So is there a lot of snow in Colorado ?

...you're kidding, right? Qual, dear. Qual. Look. See that yellow spot there? That's Colorado. Think the Rocky Mountains.

*Desert Stallion surfacing again* Ah, a chance to read up and get involved in the forum again. Actually, New York is the place to be for snow right now. 10 feet of the stuff. Now THAT's snow, wowee. Sledding on the rooftops...
Qual, the Rocky Mountains are a great place in the U.S.A. for skiing and other snow sports. Fine big snowy mountains; Colorado's kind of the classic place there. In America, when one says "skiing", most think of Colorado. I've never been there myself, but it sounds fun.

And say, while I'm thinking of it, what's the prize gonna be for this contest? Is everyone who finishes the challenge getting a prize, or is it the first one done? Or is there first, second, and third place, and if so, who would be the judge? Questions-always the questions with me...

Oh, I see... well, the closest look I had of colorado was with Lucky Luke, I guess, so I didn't suspect it was such a famous skiing place. It's a bit like the Alpes over here, I guess. But then, geography was never my strong point. Aaw, the prize, eh ? Good question... hum... Oh, yeah I know ! The winner gets to demand a writing and a drawing from the two others, and he gets to choose the subject too How about that ? As for the judge, we could vote (with a rule specifying we can't vote for our own work). Or we could try to find another Rommel fan, someone unbiased, and ask him to do it...

That sounds great, the voting idea, as long as we don't all end up voting for a different person. If that happens, we could always go with the judge idea. Do any of you know a good Rommel fan for backup? I don't... The prize sounds great, and maybe the winner could even set a deadline, within reason of course. Two weeks, something like that. And if real life seriously gets in the way, and not our lazyness, it could be extended.

Another Rommel fan ? Well, my mother says he's a pretty decent guy, and that's something from someone who was raised by a German-hater (namely, my grandmother), but she doesn't really qualify as a fan. Apart from her... nope. Most of the time, when I mention Rommel's name, all I get is "who's that ? oh, yeah, wasn't he a general in Africa during WW2 ?" Two weeks, at least. Maybe even three. Hmm, I think I'm gonna draw this Rommel partying with officers soon. Just don't expect him to look too much like the real Rommel

*volunteers Ryan as the judge* He's a pretty good judge of literature.
I used to live in Colorado...*sigh*...but now I live back on the East Coast. We FINALLY got snow today. I've been contemplating moving to NY.

I don't know...He insulted Rommel, you know... I suppose if we can't make the voting method work, we could ask him. New York? I wouldn't want to move there right now. You'd have to tunnel out your house before you could move in.
